1. Gana Gana Bottu

Artist[s]:Haricharan, Priyadharshini

Lyricist: Ramajogaya Sastry

It is an energetic party/marriage song. It has a typical Thaman’s mass template. There is nothing much to talk about this song, it’s pretty average number. But the visuals are very fresh, entertaining and dance movements from the lead actors are great! It can be a party song which is enhanced by grand visuals and dances. Some interesting music arrangements !

2. Mara O Mara.

Artist[s]:Suchith Suresan, MM.Manasi

Lyricist: Ramajogaya Sastry

Through the visuals, which are out, the song looks too romantic, exotic and cool. Even many of stills/posters of Thadaka are from this song. Unfortunately there is neither the wow factor nor some lovable lyrics. It falls short somewhere and leaves you incomplete. Not a great one though.

3. Subhanallah

Artist[s]: Kathik, Priya

Lyrics: Ramajogaya Shastry

“Subhanallah” owes its catchy beat to ‘Jiya Ho’ from Gangs of Wasseypur. It is a faux-Punjabi style that might get mixed responses, despite spirited singing from singers. Lyrics are average. Again, the visuals which are captured in Hampi might elevate this song.

4. Viyyalavaru

Artist[s]: Neeti Mohan,Sooraj and M.M.Manasi

Lyrics: Ramajogaya Shastry

Here comes another party song. This will work well within the visuals

of the movie It’s a marriage song and visuals look grand and appealing too. Neeti Mohan voice modulation is appreciable. It would complement the film with the visuals.

5. Nuvvu Nenu Bomma

Artist[s]: Tippu and Ranjith

Lyrics: Bhaskarabhatla

Finally the album ends in the Thaman’s typical style. Looks like an intro song of both the brothers. Even the lyrics voice out the strong relationship between the two brothers. The song’s beat has a lot of similarities with Thaman’s own song “Vachadura…Thisukochadura” from “Brindavanam”. But still this will surely click because of the lyrical power and energetic dances from both the brothers (Chaithu and Sunil). Interestingly the album ends with the intro song of the film. This song has trademark Thaman’s rhythm yet its foot tapping and fast.

Album Rating: ★★★★★★½☆☆☆

On the whole, the album somewhere lacks classy touch. It falls in the mid zone leaving us incomplete. Call this as the first combo of Chaithanya and Thaman. One would have expected some really good tracks which this album lacks. But the makers made it clear in fact it can be considered as clever idea wherein they released all the videos of these songs and made it appealing and strengthening through visuals. Hence it is an average album!

Pick’s of the album: Viyyalavaru and Nuvvu Nenu (Because of mass presentation, which really compliments the title)

Verdict: Thadaka( Power/strength) – On Visuals than Audio! An average album.
