Album ★★★★★★★☆☆☆

Song Singer Rating
Piya O Re Piya Atif Aslam, Shreya Ghoshal ★★★★☆
Jeene De Mohit Chauhan ★★★½☆
Pee Pa Pee Pa Diljit Dosanjh, Priya Panchal ★★★☆☆
Tu Mohabbat Hai Atif Aslam, Monali Thakur, Priya Panchal ★★★½☆
Fann Ban Gayi Sunidhi Chauhan, Kailash Kher ★★★½☆
Piya O Re Piya (Sad version) Atif Aslam, Priya Panchal ★★★½☆
Pee Pa Pee Pa (Remix) Diljit Dosanjh, Priya Panchal ★★★☆☆
Piya O Re Piya  (Remix) Atif Aslam, Shreya Ghoshal ★★★☆☆

 1.       Piya O Re Piya

Shreya Ghoshal’s beautiful vocals adds the extra half-star to this passable song. The song begins with excellent background music. Atif Aslam &  Shreya Ghoshal blend well. This song is probably the best track in this album.

2.       Jeene De

Jeene De is beautifully rendered by Mohit Chauhan who is well complimented by beautiful guitar strums. The song is definitely listenable, but again, the magical touch of “Pee Loon” or “Jo Bhi Main” is missing.

 3.       Pee Pa Pee Pa

We have already had a number of #1s which Bhangra in it. This song, however does not live upto the expectations. The song is banal, definitely not one of the best in the album. The remix of this track is much better.

4.       Tu Mohabbat Hai

Tu Mohabbat Hai is yet another average track. Decent lyrics and average vocals make this song just listenable.

 5.       Fann Ban Gayi

Fann Ban Gayi, an item number with Rajasthani touch, has comic and romantic elements blended to make it one of the best tracks in this album. As expected, no one suits better for this song other than Sunidhi Chauhan. Kailash Kher adds the sufi & folk touch to this song. We would actually like Sunidhi to sing more songs like those from “Sur”.

Verdict :

This album is decent and passable. Not the best music at the moment but definitely worth trying.
