This is a mediocre album and so there's not even a single song notable. Music of this album does not match with the music in vogue or for instance does not even match with the ones in fashion recently. Old-fashioned music and probably made just for the sake of it. Could have been handled more interestingly. However, this is not upto the scratch and falls way below expectations.
In a nutshell, Chalo Dilli is a sub average album. Only a few songs would actually retain a place in your playlist and the others will almost surely be forgotten after a single listen. Perhaps having 5 music directors was a classic case of Too many cooks spoil the broth. The only thing that might stick in your head are the lines “Chalo Dilli“ from the title track, and that too , most probably because you keep hearing it in the Kellogg’s Cornflakes ad on tv.
