Abhishek Bachchan

Bol Bachchan

Rohit Shetty's films - be it the "Golmaal" series or the under-rated "Sunday" or "Zameen" are not known for their music. But with a decently successful soundtrack in "Singham" & one look at the cast of "Bol Bachchan" expectations for this album were natural.Rohit, teaming up with Himesh Reshammiya after "Zameen" & having Ajay-Atul as guest composers, lets see what this album has in store for us....

Dum Maaro Dum

Dum maaro Dum has a lot to offer in terms of soundtrack. 'Mit Jaaye Gham' and 'Te Amo' are already tremendous hits, topping all charts. Pritam has most certainly delivered on this one. The first time i saw the song list , what stood out was 4 versions of Te Amo ( including a remix ). Yes it's an amazing song but isn't 4 pushing it a little? Well, each version has it's own character and dimension. So Pritam, you're off the hook on that one. Abhishek's rap was slightly unnecessary from a music point of view, but it might fit into the movie somewhere. All in all, a solid album. A definite must-listen!
