Siruthai has music by Vidyasagar. The film stars Karthi, Tamannah and Santhanam in the lead. The songs are as shown below.
1. Arariraro -:
Singer -: Srivadhani
This one is a mother-daughter sentiment song. The lead singer has sung beautifully. The song is short but surely has its impact. When Vidyasagar is composing, can melodies be far behind?
2. Adi Rakkama Rakku-:
Singers -: Ranjith, Suchitra, Roshan
A song for the masses. It is peppy and fast paced. Ranjith’s voice stands out among the lead singers. Suchitra has done a neat job in maintaining with Ranjith’s pace in singing. Though we have already listened to these kind of songs, this one wont bore you. Worth listening.
3. Azhaga Porandhuputta -:
Singers -: Malathy Laxman, Priyadarshini
Item number of the album. The song has a brief introduction by Malathy Laxman followed Priyadarshini’s vocals. Priyadarshini has done enough justice to the song and has given the required feel for the song.
4. Chellam Vada Chellam -:
Singers -: Udit Narayan, Roshan, Surmukhi
This one is a melodious duet. Udit Narayan has done a decent job. But Surmukhi has overtaken Udit Narayan in the singing. The song is feel good and good to hear. But we wish Udit Narayan takes care of his pronunciation. Another sweet melody from Vidyasagar.
5. Naa Romba Romba-:
Singers -: Ranjith
A typical hero introduction song. This one is supposed to rock the theatres. Ranjith is in full flow and has given his best for the song. The song has all potential to rock the music charts.
A decent outing from Vidyasagar. It is not a wholesome album but has songs that can rock the charts. But from a music director of Vidyasagar’s calibre, you tend to expect a better album.
