Michael Buble’s vocals is just out of this world and this album has won its top spot righteously! A truly mood lifting album bound to drive the gloom outta anyone, authentic and the perfect album for Christmas and a peaceful new year celebrations!

2. 21 – Adele

The songs from this album (Someone like you & Rolling in the deep) are still the chartbusters and are in the Billboard top 20 songs’ list. The album is packed with the turmoil of emotions, the helplessness and the ways to overcome the teenage hurdles on your own! Being Adele’s 3rd album the amount of success it has given her is just unfathomable her deep matured voice with the right amount of shrill does the trick of mesmerising her listeners. Her reign may extend into 2012 as the best singer.

3. Born This Way- Lady Gaga

The freak show that happened to the music industry (in a better way)! Lady Gaga redefined stage performances, musical videos and Halloween costumes along with her songs. With the most number of followers her songs are the most downloaded criticised of faved. Almost all her songs have versatility and no two of her tracks ever sound the same! Born this way album broke many records which many aren’t still aware of !

4. El Camino -The Black Keys

The album was released just a few days back in December and it has one of the finest songs from the Blues band. It has motley of slow songs and a few uptempo songs! The timely release of this album proves that 2011 wasn’t really a bad year for the music industry after all. The 11 track album never gets boring or cliché but you a need a little bit patience to listen to it all and you will never regret it!

5. A Thousand Suns – Linkin Park

The album received a mixed response on its release, some loved it much better than the previous Linkin park albums some hinted that this album wasn’t upto the standards set by LP. But the album gradually proved to all the cynics that Linkin Park always manage to come up with the best stuff. The album shares many emotional stories of the band members which gives a more personal touch and a better appeal.

6. Mylo Xyloto – Coldplay

With songs like ‘Every Teardrop is a Waterfall’ and ‘Paradise’ released as singles the album saw an instant hit amongst the music lovers. It soon became the much hyped up album until its release for some reasons the hype didn’t stay long after its release and the album of such was mildly disappointing but satisfying enough to make it into the top 10.

7. I’m With You – Red Hot Chilli Peppers

No matter how many newbies enter the world of music the old and the best shall always prevail just as how RHCP have prevailed with the release of their 10th studio album. It was a long wait since Stadium Arcadium but it was somewhat worth it. A good 8 outta 14 songs sound really good which is an incredible number for number for an album by the stalwarts like these.

8. Wasting Light – Fool Fighters

This Foo Fighters album has found its way in the ‘Musicperk’s Top 10 albums’ as well the ‘Billboard’s Top 10 Rock albums’. ‘Bridge Burning’, ‘Rope’, ‘These Days’ and ‘Walk’(especially)are the main reasons for the success of this album! The album has seen a deviation from the heavy guitar grunge influenced music to a more sensible direction .

9. Talk That Talk

The album has a variety of genre in one album like R&B, Electro, Hip-hop and dancehall. The album also features Calvin Harris and Jay-z in two different songs and these incidentally happen to be the two hit singles from the album.

10. Sorry For Party Rocking – LMFAO

The list of crazy albums released in 2011 is bigger than the Billboard 200 and this one finds its way into the top 10 albums too! With the new year just waiting to knock on your doors everyone should be equipped with this album to just complete a rocking party with the right music .
