Music Director -: Yuvan Shankar Raja

Yet another mixed bag from Yuvan. The album has a reasonable number of rhythm oriented songs to attract all those young fans out there. Being one of the much awaited films in Kollywood the director has a great scope to provide a visual delight.

Song Name Rating
Enakaaga Unakaaga ★★★☆☆
Idhu Kadhalai Irundhidumo ★★½☆☆
Naa Vetta Pora Aadu ★★½☆☆
Natpin Kadhaigalai ★★★½☆
Thedi Varuven ★★☆☆☆
Vellai Kodi ★★★½☆

1. Enakaaga Unakaaga -:

In this song Naresh refreshes us as usual with his soft voice. Yuvan could’ve used Andrea’s voice in a better way. Also the long interlude in the song is a bit monotonic and dull. The words everything’s gonna be okay/alright is catchy and will have a good response.

2. Idhu Kadhalai Irundhidumo-:

This song is dominated by techno beats all over. The voices of Benny and Chinmayi have complemented very well. Half way through, the song loses continuity and feels like a completely different song. Not the best of Yuvan’s lot but could get a place in the charts for some time.

3. Naa Vetta Pora Aadu

This is a song for all the Yuvan fans out there. Yuvan has sung almost the whole song with Roshini covering some minor parts. The lyrics are simple and can be a treat for the home crowd.

4. Natpin Kathaigalai

This song sung by Krish is seasonal and by the lyrics we can expect a visual treat from the director.  The rhythm sounds familiar but has a good balance with the tune. It is a decent addition to the album and is sure to hit the youngsters.

5. Thedi Varuven

This song starts with some squeaky sounds. For about half length of the song the singer has nothing more to say other than “Thedi Varuven”. It gets worse when the lyrical part actually begins. The singer Toshi should work on his tamil diction. There is a good usage of electric guitar all over the song which probably is the only plus.

6. Vellai Kodi

This song is different from all other songs in this album as the tune speaks more than the rhythm. Pleasant string and wind interludes are a cool addition. Singer S.P. Charan has done a great job and needs a special mention. This song is not for all those lovers of fast beats but spreads a good message.
