Music Album : Jhootha Hi Sahi

Music Director : A.R Rahman

The John Abrahim starrer flick Jhootha hi sahi did not mesmerize on screen. Its Music Album though keeps you interested throughout. With the song Maiyya Yashoda being a winner, other songs are also good and different from the usual tracks. The lyrics are fitting.

Song Name Singers/Performers Rating
Cry Cry Rashid Ali & Shreya Ghoshal ★★★½☆
Maiyya Yashoda (jamuna Mix) Javed Ali & Chinmayi ★★★★☆
Hello Hello Karthik ★★½☆☆
Do Nishaaniyan Sonu Nigam ★★★½☆
Pam Pa Ra Harshdeep Kaur, Labh Janju and Shreya Ghoshal ★★½☆☆
Ive Been Waiting Vijay Yesudas ★★★☆☆

 1.      Cry Cry

Singer : Rashid Ali & Shreya Ghoshal

Lyrics : Abbas Tyrewala

The song is nice because of the vocals as well as the lyrics. The song however fails to go over to the playlists as the song loses its flavor in the interludes but still remains hearable. The lyrics of this song are a class apart.

 2.      Maiyya Yashoda (Jamuna Mix)

Singer : Javed Ali & Chinmayi

Lyrics : Abbas Tyrewala

This song is a romantic and a soothing song with fantastic beats. Through Javed Ali and Chinmayi’s voice it gets a passionate feeling. It also has proper beats and interludes. The song is another good attempt by the singers who have done a great job. It is a terrific composition from the maestro A.R Rahman.

 3.      Hello Hello

Singers : Karthik

Lyrics: Abbas Tyrewala

The song is an attempted fast jazz song. Karthik, of “Behka” fame, is the singers and the song in the movie is a stage performance by the main actors of the film. The singers have done well and the lyrics are modest. Song has some alignment from the songs composed by A.R Rahman in the past. This song is outclassed by other songs in the album and fails to create an impact.

 4.      Do Nishaaniyan

Singer : Sonu Nigam

Lyrics : Abbas Tyrewala

The lyrics of this song are noteworthy and brilliant. They need a special mention. The music is also commendable though a wee bit slowly thrown. The song is about the hardships the actors face due to their fallout. Though it is a good song it falls out as a slow and a little extended track.

 5.      Pam Pa Ra

Singer: Harshdeep Kaur, Labh Janju Shreya Ghoshal

Lyrics: Abbas Tyrewala

The song goes largely unnoticed in the album. Though the song has been well sung by the singers it does not create the required interest. You tend to get bored.

 6.      Ive Been Waiting

Singer: Vijay Yesudas

Lyrics: Abbas Tyrewala

This song is fast and gels with the movie. The music Director has made a good musical composition. Theme of the movie has thus been aptly composed. The beats are perfect and the music charms you and makes you tap along. There is a wave of enthusiasm throughout. It makes to your playlist easily.

Album ★★★★★★★☆☆☆

Jhootha hi sahi is a pleasant album. It has refreshing songs. The album is probably the most under-rated album of the year. A.R Rahman has done really well with this one. Abbas Tyrewala has done tremendously well. It is a fun filled album with an average collection of songs. Enjoy the album and you will sure love it !
