Loveula Loveula ★★★½☆

Singers : C.Sathya

Lyrics : Madhan Karky

A foot tapping song, which begins with a rowing synth, finger snaps, soft strums, shenaai ,grows on you  just like his debut album song “Maasama” from Engeyum Epodhum. Satya does justice to this song with the flow, track length  and vocals. The listeners would want the composer for a deviation ,since he’s been doing the same kinda humpy-jumpy romantic tracks ,though its nice .

Malaya Porattala★★★☆☆

Singers: Biz Mac, Hyde Karty, Tipu

Lyrics: Viveka

A high octane song with rip-roaring funk and electronic sounds ,gives the headstart and in addition to this, Tippu gives an uplift with his expressive voice ,that’s required for the song ,making it worthy to be called an introduction song. But the rap portions and certain synth parts, in the middle, are detached and quite disturbing.

Enna Marandhaen★★★★½

Singers: Madhushree

Lyrics: Na.Muthukumar

This track is done with Suddha Dhanyaasi  as the base raag ,sung by Madhushree ,which makes you relish and lends itself so well to interpret romanticism in the best manner. There is also a kind of traditional Tamil chant, which is very soothing with the clear cut music and mesmerizing lyrics. Melodious and catchy, this number is easily the pick of the album.

Ranga Ranga★★★½☆

Singers: Rita

Lyrics: Mani Amudhavan

A lot of progressions and textures turn this song magical in favour of the composer and singer. He has tried out combining irish ballad, kuthu and pop with some nice treatment of violins and piano playing twilights in the preludes.

Thanimayilae★★★★☆

Singers: Anand Araviddakshan, Nivas

Lyrics: Viveka

This song is quite high on emotions ,exhibited through a lot of minor scales and minimal instrumentation. There is a great chance for the singers to prove their steel and the song slowly rises to the top with the combined strength of Nivas and Anand, explaining the loss of the hero’s love.

Idhuthaan★★★½☆

Singers: Balram

Lyrics: Pudhiyadhoar Kavignan Seivom Team

A typical Jog raag based pathos song establishes itself in not a very big manner , given the duration. Not to miss , the lines are touchy and the vocals by Balram works fine.

Pick of the Album: Enna Marandhen, Lovulla Lovulla, Thanimayile

Bottomline: After consecutive album hits from his stable , C.Sathya proves to be a real hero with this movie. He has experimented with the arrangements and played the game with his music programming acts perfectly. Also the lyrics are quite refreshing and pronounced well with no misspell. He has turned like “Ivan Vera Mathiri” with these songs.
