Album ★★★★★★½☆☆☆

Song Singer Rating
Gali Gali Chor Hai Kailash Kher ★★★★☆
Suno Suno Mohit Chauhan, Anmol Malik ★★★½☆

1.       Gali Gali Chor Hai

The title track manages to captures the hearts of the listeners which extremely funny lyrics. The “qawwali” styled song catches up with the anti-corruption tide. Excerpts from the lyrics – “Disha koyi ho, looteron ka zor hai”, “yeh sab mann ke kaale, yeh sab dhan ke kaale”, “mere ghar mein hi rahte hain, mera dhan lootane wale”. Wah wah ! Kailash Kher does a good job, it’s his style of song. The 4 stars go to the amazing lyrics and great qawwali style.

 2.       Suno Suno

In this romantic duet, Mohit Chauhan’s and Anmol Malik’s vocals blend really well. But this track is pretty average track. Great music – Anu Malik! The lyrics are pretty average. The extra half star for this track is for the vocals and music.

 3.       Chhanno

Great music once again! This is a Bollywood “masala” song. Chhano tries to be the “Chikkni Chameli” or “Munni Badnaam” but we already used to such songs. We need something different ! A pretty average track , great music.

 4.       Gali Gali Chor Hai (Remix)

Very much the same as original.  Official remix. Nothing much to say.

 5.       Chhanno (Remix)

The official remix of Chhanno. If you liked the original, you will definitely want this remake. Great beat. Party song.

 6.       Gali Gali Shor Hai (Chorus)

A short track. Very much the same as the original Gali Gali Chor Hai.

Verdict :

An album with only 3 songs & 3 remixes? Definitely not worth the money. The title track is probably the best of the album. A decent album with only 3 songs worth mentioning.
