This song jotted down as a teaser of the film and became a youth hymn in the near past. Yuvan has proved his mettle involving ample sound mixings in it. Simbhu voice seems to be good in this song but his lyrics go down disarrayed. This one goes down as a song when he gets a spark looking at his girl at the first sight.

This slow number, composed and sung by Yuvan is all about a communal show. A good lyrical display of Na. Muthukumar . The big plus of this song is Yuvan’s voice which gives the exact feel of the song and its situation song.

Kick it! Kick it! A fast number going down as an appraisal of Simbhu. Simbhu gets a mass hero rock from Yuvan in each of his film and this one will be top amidst the other praising songs. Brilliant band and beats at the back, lovely voice modulations and proper placing of lyrics has made this a hit. This song is a theme for ‘Cable Raja’, the hero and is expected to be a background score for stunt sequences.

The song is a musical feast of Yuvan. Nowadays, no album comes out without Benny singing for it. And as Benny is the singer we obviously know that it is a fast number with a lot of western in it. Western music well played down in this song and a perfect mix. A big round of applause is to be given to the technicians and the guitarist behind this song. This song is to be owned by Bharath in the big screen. This song is going to hit you on every party and disco hereafter.

5. No Money… No honey

Brilliant startup music makes you to hear the song again and again. Yuvan used a lot of strings, chords, bands and base. And his effort has gained applause. This one is the perfect hit among all other songs of this film. This features Silambarasan and Anushka Shetty on the lead junking the floors for a fast number. Andrea’s voice seems to be the perfect match for Anushka Shetty on screen. This song is all about money and says nothing is possible without money. Rather than lyrics, the voices and the music score is good. This one will make you hear it again and again.

Album Rating –

Vaanam is a perfect entertainer and is expected to be one amidst the top albums this year. The Yuvan-Simbhu combo proves their mettle once again. Songs sung by Simbhu by himself gets a good response amidst public and Yuvan understanding this made use of Simbhu in a right path. Not every song shall be a melodrama; people do expect different songs in albums. Yuvan works on to satisfy this feel of the public. Vaanam, will for sure add on to the hit combo musical ventures of Yuvan-Simbhu.
