Irshad Kamil

Raanjhanaa is an upcoming Hindi film directed by Anand Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma. The music has been composed by the one and only AR Rahman. The film has a star cast including Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in the lead. The lyrics of all songs have been penned by Irshad Kamil. This was a hugely expected album mainly because it is the debut movie for Dhanush in Bollywood and of course because the music is by AR Rahman. It is turning out to be a great season for Dhanush with back to back albums with AR Rahman(This and Maryan). Let us check out how the album has turned out to be.

Love Aaj Kal

here is quite a repetition at some places even in choice of singers like Neeraj Shridhar. However, some songs are extremely well arranged like Twist, Aahun Aahun, Chor Bazaari and Ajj din chadheyan which will surely hit the chart buster and in your playlist. Also the last track is perfect situational and shaadi song. But overall it could have been better with some more innovation.

mere brother ki dulhan

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan

Individually the songs are all good in some aspects but somehow the album doesn't feel proper. I would say its worth buying and listening to but not everyone would like the entire album thus the worth being questioned. Apart from that this is one of those few movies where you can listen to these stalwarts of the music industry, all in one album.
