Love Aaj Kal

here is quite a repetition at some places even in choice of singers like Neeraj Shridhar. However, some songs are extremely well arranged like Twist, Aahun Aahun, Chor Bazaari and Ajj din chadheyan which will surely hit the chart buster and in your playlist. Also the last track is perfect situational and shaadi song. But overall it could have been better with some more innovation.

"Cocktail" starring Saif Ali Khan,Deepika Padukone marks the 2nd film of Homi Adajania who previously directed the critically acclaimed "Being Cyrus".The promos are already making rounds with similarities already being drawn to "Vickie Cristiana Barcelona".Initially planned as a sequel to "Love Aaj Kal",this movie has Pritam teaming up with Saif after the musical success of "Agent Vinod".Further, this movie teams up the pair of Saif-Deepika post "Love Aaj Kal" & "Aarakshan" for the 3rd time.Lets see what Pritam has to offer for us...

Dum Maaro Dum

Dum maaro Dum has a lot to offer in terms of soundtrack. 'Mit Jaaye Gham' and 'Te Amo' are already tremendous hits, topping all charts. Pritam has most certainly delivered on this one. The first time i saw the song list , what stood out was 4 versions of Te Amo ( including a remix ). Yes it's an amazing song but isn't 4 pushing it a little? Well, each version has it's own character and dimension. So Pritam, you're off the hook on that one. Abhishek's rap was slightly unnecessary from a music point of view, but it might fit into the movie somewhere. All in all, a solid album. A definite must-listen!
