Qasam Se Qasam Se, a romantic movie is releasing on 15th of June, starring Azim Rizvi, Faith and Rakhi Sawant as the leads. Being the debut movie of the actor Azim Rizvi, this movie can either bring him into the Bollywood limelight of fame and name or it can slowly mark the end of his acting career too. The movie was supposed to be released last month on 11th of May but as it was clashing with Yash Raj production movie and also the IPL it was a good idea to postpone the movie. The music of this movie hasn’t really been able to create that hype which is quite essential for a Bollywood movie to be a hit. The music album has twelve songs sung by eminent singers such as Shann, Mohit Chauhan etc. Let’s have a look at how the music fares –

Zindagi Kah Rahi Hai Mohit Chauhan ★★★★☆

1. Song name : Bolne main kya jata hai
Singer : Mika

As the song starts anyone can guess it’s Mika singing it, such a unique and hoarse voice he has. His voice goes well with the music which is fast and quite funky. Sounds a lot like a Punjabi track, the lyrics are very plain though. Listen to this one for it’s music.

2. Song name : Har varak
Singer : Shaan

A club music track, which is quite boring! The music might get your feet tapping but no you won’t feel like dancing on it. Shaan is flawless as usual, his voice stands out which is the only good thing about this song.

3. Song name : Meethi yaadien
Singer : Farhan

This song is a long one, running for around 7 long minutes. Sung by the Pakistani band ‘Jal’ singer, Farhan anyone would expect this track to be brilliant since Jal band are known for their amazing tracks such as ‘Aadat’, ‘Wo Lamhe’ etc but this one is a disappointment. There’s nothing catchy about the tune and the lyrics is average, moreover since nothing in this track catches your attention you might end up skipping this song after 3-4 minutes.

4. Song name : Meehi Yaadien (Remix)
Singer : Farhan

Again, his remix doesn’t really work, the tune is just faster hence becomes another club music track but everything else remains the same.

5. Song name : Mumkin nahi
Singer : Kunal Ganjawala and Monali Thakur

This one is a disappointment again. Singers do their job well but the music is below average, the same old tune. Supposedly a romantic track but it fails to become a favorite of the audience!

6. Song name : Mumkin nahi (Sad version)
Singer : Kunal Ganjawala

Since it’s the sad version the tune is subtle and slower. You would probably skip this one especially if you’re not a fan of depressing songs.

7. Song name : Pankh lage hai
Singer : Reeky Dev, Sayanti, K. Shailendra

Finally a track which has a different tune compared to the other tracks which have the same old tune. This one isn’t too bad, the music is more than enough to hold you on till the end of the track.

8. Song name : Qasam Se Qasam Se
Singer : Shailendra and Sayanti

Another romantic track but this one again fails to impress you! Lyrics are below average hence fails to connect with the audience. The music starts off well but then gets a little too boring.

9. Song name : Rokade ki maya
Singer : Neeraj Shridar

A very Punjabi tune which you will definitely like. It’s quite a jumpy and bouncy track, the lyrics are not too great but somehow goes really well with the tune and the vocals is something you would appreciate.

10. Song name : Tujhe paya to
Singer : Mohit Chauhan

Ah, a Mohit Chauhan song has to be beautiful. His silky soft voice can make a song sound so very melodious and he does the same with his song too. This one is a perfect romantic number for this movie. The vocals do complete justice to this track and the tune is very smooth, something that will please your ears.

11. Song name : Tum Kahan ho
Singer : K.K

The tune is lovely! The vocals are at it’s best, it has to be since K.K is singing it. The lyrics are quite likable but the tune and vocals will steal all your attention.

12. Song name : Zindagi Kah Rahi Hai
Singer : Mohit Chauhan

Another Mohit Chauhan track! This one again absorbs you completely, the vocals compliment the tune really well and you can’t help but feel all mesmerized. Yes, Mohit Chauhan has that effect on you. Surprisingly the lyrics for this one is quite nice too. This one is the best track in the album.

Overall ★★★★★★☆☆☆☆

Verdict : The album isn’t very exciting except for 2-3 tracks which you would love to listen to again and again. The first few tracks in the album don’ match up to the expectations which audience have, but this makes up for the last few tracks in the album such as ‘Zindagi Kah Rahi Hai’, ‘Tum Kahan Ho’ and ‘Tujhe paya to’ these 3 are the best tracks in the album. The music composer could have done a much better job with a little experimentation as most of the tunes are quite lucid. Hopefully, the movie turns out to be better and covers up for the boring music which it offers.
