Norah Jones, daughter of Pandit Ravi Shankar, half-sister of Anoushka Shankar and a world-famous American jazz singer and songwriter would be performing in India during the first half of March at Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.

Norah started her musical career in 2001 and won five Grammies for her debut album ‘Come Away with Me’ in the year 2002. The album also topped the US Billboard 200. Her second album ‘Feels Like Home’ which released in 2004 brought her three more Grammies. She followed it up with ‘Not Too Late’ in 2007 and ‘The Fall’ in 2009.

Her latest album which was released in 2012 is ‘Little Broken Hearts’ which is rated 7.5/10 on Musicperk.

The concerts are part of her Little Broken Hearts Tour which started in Paris, France on May 25th, 2012 spanning 84 concerts and 9 legs. Norah has performed all over the world as part of this world tour. She comes to India after a series of concerts at Australia and Singapore. Almost all the concerts in this tour have seen packed houses and have grossed at least $1, 00,000 per concert. She is joined by her band members Pete Remm, Jason Roberts, Josh Lattanzi and Greg Wiz.

Norah would headline A Summer’s Day Festival in Mumbai on March 3rd before performing for two consecutive days at Delhi’s Siri Fort Auditorium on March 5th and 6th. She would then perform in Bangalore on March 8th at the Nice Grounds. M Ward would be supporting Norah on the Indian leg of the tour.

In Mumbai, tickets are priced at Rs.3, 000 and VIP tickets are Rs.7, 000. Tickets for the Delhi show are priced at Rs.2, 500, Rs.3, 500, and Rs.6, 500. In Bangalore, regular tickets are Rs.2, 500 and VIP tickets are Rs.6000. Early Bird tickets are on sale in Mumbai and Bangalore at Rs.2, 000 in the regular category and are available for a limited period of time only.
