Chikku Bukku Chikku
The album starts off with a folk kind of song whose initial lines immediately reminds us of another song. However, it does get better there onwards. It is a usual folky song, nothing new really. It might work out for those watching the movie to have fun. An average composition overall.
My Dear Loveru
So Vishal is the latest actor to try his hands on singing. This song is clearly intended for fun. The lyrics and the tune say it all. It sounds a little inspired from ‘Kolaveri’. Vishal does a decent job but doesn’t impress. It is a fun song that might work out if you are in a jolly mood.
This song has Vijay Antony experimenting new sounds here and there. He has also sung the song and the song is itself his usual fare with his kind of tune. So its a pretty decent arrangement from the composer. It is good for relaxed listening.
Sartru Mun Varai
So, this is the best song of this album. It isn’t a great song although. Its just better than the other songs. It has a pretty good tune and an above average singing. There isn’t much to say about it either. It is just another decent composition and not a bad listen.
Err.. I really don’t know what the title of the song means. But isn’t that the fun part of Vijay Antony’s songs? This song has few more of such meaningless phrases. And it is again a fun song to listen. It is a slightly ‘African’ised song. So it will just be a part of another song of Vijay Antony with those weird lyrics!
Verdict: You can just miss this album. Seriously, there isn’t anything great about it. Vijay Antony needs to work a lot on how to present the songs even if it is just for fun. The meaningless phrases might not work in his favor all the time. Other than ‘Satru Mun’, no other song can be actually quoted to be a good song. The album is below average!
