1. Aamchi Mumbai
Artist(s): Ranjith, Rahul Nambiar, Naveen, Aalap Raju
Lyricist: Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar
This is the introductory song and it takes off with a high chorus and subtle music. The words Bhaag Saale are used here to good effect. A synthesizer and the guitar are sumptuously used. There is great energy in the song and the singers have done a terrific job in bringing out the emotions. Bhaskara Bhatla’s lyrics are good and this song raises expectations on the movie.
2. Sir Osthara
Artist(s): Suchitra, Thaman. S
Lyricist: Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar
This song shows the people what addiction truly is. This song would be the one of the frontrunners for the most addictive song if there ever was one. Suchitra’s energy and voice is too good and is complimented well by Thaman. Bhaskarabhatla has come out with good lyrics yet again and the slang and style of Thaman are loveable. Use of the synthesizer instruments is seen once again.
3. Pilla Chao
Artist(s): Rahul Nambiar
Lyricist: Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar
Thaman delivers another highlight song for this movie. ‘Pilla Chao’ is in a situation where Kajal rejects Mahesh for no good reason. The music is peppy and incredibly catchy. Bhaskarabhatla is impressive yet again and his lyrics make the song very good to listen to. Rahul Nambiar has done a great job using his voice to great effect. The effect of the saxophone can be felt much higher than the other instruments.
4. Chandamama Navve
Artist(s): Haricharan
Lyricist: Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar
Haricharan delivers a good performance. The music is fine and the listeners might feel a sense of déjà vu listening to this as it is similar to many other songs.
5. Bad Boyz
Artist(s): Priya Himesh, Geetha Madhuri
Lyricist: Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar
Poori Jagannath movies are famous for item songs and he uses Thaman this time to deliver yet another hit in this segment. Priya Hemesh and Geetha Madhuri have done a good job in presenting the song. The song lyrics remind us of the style used in “Ippatikinka” from Pokiri. The drums and the synthesizer beats give a very good affect to the song making it a fast and peppy number.
6. Businessman (Theme)
Artist(s): Mahesh Babu, Puri Jagannadh
Lyricist: Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar
This could be understood as the theme song of the movie and the presence of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s voice literally drives his fans crazy. Though there is no actual singing and he says only some dialogues in this, they pack a real punch. The musical score is brilliant and with this Thaman shows the world that he is a musician who can deliver very good themes.
Album rating

Thaman has done great justice to this high profile movie by delivering the goods in the music section. Sir Osthara is the pick of the album while the other songs aren’t too far behind.
